My friend Lindsay signing up for Tumblr is my favorite kind of outreach.
As in, this has been a yearlong battle with the most stubborn woman in the world.
And to think, she was the one who told me about jakobandjulia.com, which, Oh God, I don’t tell many people this but, is the reason I started tumblin’ in the first place. And the reason I am friends with Jen, because when I volunteered at 826 she worked there and I texted her once to say Julia Allison emailed me and told me I was adorable, and Jen responded, “I don’t know who this is, but it is the most amazing text I have ever gotten.” We became fast friends, brought together in a way that only JFA is capable of expediting.
So really, I have Lindsay to credit for a long of things. A love of fiber, a knowledge that blazers are, indeed, back, and a well-trained ability to show a man The Good Boob. Only when necessary.
Mostly, I am excited because I, aherm, mention her a lot, and now, well, I have somewhere to link. THE LADY HAS BECOME LINKABLE.
Oh, and because her tagline is amahzing. She really did quit her job. And she really does have good taste. The woman is a lot of things, but a liar ain’t one of ‘em.
