Jacob gave me this theme awhile back and it used to be called Ribbons and I wouldn’t let him make it public but OKAY Jacob, I think I am ready.
He said that as part of my duty, or as my last privilege, rather, I get to name this theme.
After pretty seriously considering wanting to call it meaghano (meganho?), I realized I would feel a little bit like an asshole.
so I thought maybe Anagrams? Because that is the name of the Lorrie Moore book it is named after (ahem; dangling participles [[TOLD YA]]). Er, that is the Lorrie Moore book from which the line that is the name of the blog is BLERGH BLEEP
See, there’s this book by Lorrie Moore. It’s called Anagrams. In it, the narrator repeats variations on the line, “Life is hard. Here is someone.” And boom: there you have it. The sometimes-embarassing but never-regrettable name of my blog.
Anyway, then Jacob was all, How bout just Anagram? Because that sounds cooler?
And I was like, waah, that’s not the name of the book that’s just a THING (albeit an AWESOME thing— have you played bananagrams? have you? you must!).
So, uh, any ideas?
