When I went out to LA earlier this summer, I came back to work filled with stories about all the great people out there and all of the wonderful things they are up to, and how fucking awesome it was to hang out with strangers who were so genuine and enthused.
So when the time came to pick the next Tumblr IRL event, doing a film festival out in LA felt obvious and, more importantly, exciting.
I can’t wait to get back out there and hang out with everyone, and I can’t wait to watch all of these submissions that are flooding my inbox as we speak (erm, as I blog).
So yes. This will be awesome, I hope, for everyone involved. Even for those watching along at home. (dudes, check out tumblr.com/films! that’s where your films will go!)
