I will tell you a secret: My parents got these plates when we lived in Germany 25 years ago and we had them replaced once during that time after too many got lost or broken and they are one of my favorite things about coming home.
There are multiple designs, but this one and one of Noah’s Ark are my favorite.
CHRIS. My parents have the same plates from when we lived in Germany 25 years ago, too (Frankfurt? Army brat?)! Ahhhhh! This was always our really nice stuff, and yes feels like coming home, and yes I have all these memories of my mother near-crying when something got dropped. God yes that little dog. Staring at that little dog was my childhood!
