On January 1, 2010 tumblr is going to announce that all soft-lit pictures of men and women in beds with their arms around each other will be BANNED in the new year.

Tumblr estimates that 89% of all pictures posted to their site are such pictures and hope that it will encourage their users to post pictures of, I don’t know, girls in vintage dresses in the forest instead.
