I feel like the universe has been inundating my life with cats lately, as a means to avenge all my feline nay-saying. I spent most of the summer cat-sitting, got 2 new bosses with cats, my best friends just got a cat, and then I show up at Bobby’s last night and THEY have a cat. Fucking cats coming at me from all sides, mewing sadly and making my eyes itch. A few weeks ago during a choice mom temper tantrum (a growing trend in and of itself), a cat leapt on my back, digging its claws into me as I sobbed. It’s like they know.
