The questions of which I was most proud.
The winner got a heart-shaped cookie that a kind employee at Cafe Madeleine gave us after she heard me cursing the inept staff under my breath. Come see me after, Honey, she told me. I was afraid. Then she handed us two heart-shaped cookies. We ate half of one and considered giving the other half to the runner-up of the Sarah Quiz, but then thought better of it. Is this something only we will think is funny? is probably the question we have asked most this week. Perhaps even the question I ask most of myself.
Adrienne won, but the cookie got crushed in her purse and we gave it to a random suitor at Pat O’Brien’s. He was not pleased.
